Where Do Eggplants Come From?

 This is a blog all about New Jersey isn't it? So of course eggplants come from NJ, at least most of them. Two thirds of all the eggplants consumed in the world come from JERZEEBABY.
 Some other little known facts about NJ are, we are the only state with an official demon, the Jersey Devil. New Jersey was also the site of the first drive up window in 1762. The Seven Stars Tavern had a window where you could ride up on horseback and pick up your meal.
 We are also the final resting place of not only the famous MGM lion, Leo, buried in Morris County, but also Elsie the Borden cow buried in Mercer County.
 Just thought I would throw some little known NJ trivia at you. If you want to read up on some of the stranger things to have happened in the state, you might want to pick up a copy of the Weird NJ book, a pretty fun read.
