The super competitive Big East Tournament starts today at Madison Square Garden. The second game on the schedule will go a long way toward determining bragging rights in New Jersey, as Rutgers meets Seton Hall. Both teams have struggled this year and it's unlikely either will be playing beyond this tournament unless they can pull off a miraculous run.
Besides bragging rights, the winner gets a chance to play this year's big story in the Big East, St. Johns. A win there for either Seton Hall or Rutgers would surely lead to some much needed publicity for either school.
Let's hope in the very near future a matchup between these two teams will be for more than just bragging rights, maybe the tournament title. Just a little JERZEEBABY dream.
