Rutgers Wins Jersey Battle, New York Next, St. Johns

Rutgers won a thrilling overtime game against Seton Hall yesterday in the Big East Tournament at Madison Square Garden. The win not only gave Rutgers bragging rights for Jersey, but also gives them the opportunity to take on this year's darling of New York, St. Johns.
St. Johns has had an incredible year and are currently ranked in the top 25 teams in the nation. A win by Rutgers might be surprising to some, however, they only lost by two in an earlier meeting this season.
Head coach Mike Rice has the Rutgers team playing good, tough defense and if they are in the game late I would not be shocked if they pull off the upset. Either way this is the best coached team in years for Rutgers, and with a strong recruiting class coming in, there seems to be hope on the horizon.
Let's hope Rutgers can win one for JERZEEBABY!
