I was a resident of central New Jersey all my life. I have lived in both Monmouth and Middlesex counties until just recently. Approximately six months ago I moved to Camden, NJ. Yes I went willingly, and no I don't belong to a gang or sell drugs. My fiancee has become a law student at Rutgers Camden, and the commute combined with her studies would have been too much. So her, I, and our three year old son moved.
We found a great loft apartment on the Camden Waterfront that offers us a great view of Philadelphia and the Ben Franklin Bridge. Our neighbors are the Rutgers campus, the Camden Riversharks baseball stadium and the Camden Aquarium. Not bad considering we have a three year old boy.
Camden truly is like two cities, the one everyone has heard of, and the one most people miss out on because they are too scared to come here. Check out my article Camden New Jersey, Poverty and Paradise on Yahoo to see what I mean.
